Chispitas Monte

Bilingüe. K-12. Made in Texas.

A bilingual homeschool curriculum for families where the parent is a heritage speaker, and for families where the parent speaks no Spanish. Your child becomes bilingual. You remain the capable teacher.

Launching August 2026 · Founding Family enrollment now open

You do not need to speak Spanish to use this curriculum.

The English-speaking parent

Every lesson includes English scaffolding for the delivering parent. You never feel lost teaching it. Your child develops true bilingual fluency alongside your own growing comfort with the material.

The heritage-speaker parent

Your child's Spanish is not a subject to be taught in isolation. It is the language of instruction. Heritage speakers strengthen what they already have. The curriculum honors your family's linguistic identity.

Los cuatro pilares

What makes Chispitas Monte different

Bilingüe por Diseño

Bilingual by Design

Not a Spanish class. A curriculum in Spanish. Science, math, literature, entrepreneurship, all delivered in español with English scaffolding where useful. The goal is bilingual thinkers, not bilingual test-takers.

Naturalista

Nature-Based

Learning happens outside. The curriculum draws on Texas's diverse ecoregions and native wildlife across every year. Science with actual specimens. Math with actual measurement. Language with actual light.

Inspirado en Montessori

Montessori-Inspired

Inspired by Montessori and place-based learning traditions. Children lead the pace of their own understanding. Adults guide, they do not drive. Respect for the child is rigor, not sentimentality.

Emprendimiento Integrado

Entrepreneurship Woven

Every year of K-12 includes real projects. Not a unit. Not a special topic. Woven through math, literature, science, and history as core content, so children grow up knowing how to make something the world will pay for.

This year, we are in

Los Desiertos y los Cielos Grandes

The Deserts and the Big Skies

Chispitas Monte™ cycles through Texas's ecoregions over time. Every child studies every region across their K-12 years, revisiting each one at deeper developmental levels as they grow.

Next year, a new region. Same landscape. Same wonder. The Texas rotation deepens with every pass.

Bilingualism is a skill.

Four decades of research show that children who grow up bilingual read more fluently, think more flexibly, and outperform monolingual peers on measures of executive function and adult earning potential. Bilingual brains are not divided brains. They are stronger brains.
