A book on the shelf. A venture with customers. An initiative that moves the world.
Chispitas is a selective studio for children who are already wondering, already building, already pulling at a thread. We work alongside your family to turn one bright idea into a finished, public work — in eight to twenty-four weeks.
The one they already cannot put down. We walk it with them until it becomes something the world can hold.
The work matters now — and it matters later, when portfolios, applications, and self-knowledge come due.
See how the journey worksA journey that walks with the child as the child becomes.
We meet your child where the spark already lives.
We open every direction a single spark can hold.
We walk the child to the moment the spark meets the world.
The dream is theirs. The path is theirs. The realization is theirs.
Each family chooses the path that fits their child. Each path produces something real. Each story is the child's own.
A book that exists in the world.
Your child writes, edits, and publishes a complete work — picture book, research project, story collection, or documented investigation. Their name on the cover. Their words inside.
A venture with real customers.
From naming and branding to product, pricing, and first sales — your child builds a real business from the ground up. Astrolotl Sweets was one of our first.
An initiative that moves the world.
For older students — a community project, advocacy effort, or capstone with real impact. The kind of work that means something when applications come due.
Our students launch real businesses — so we built them a real way to get online. The Studio Builder walks a young founder from one bright idea to a finished, shareable website in minutes. No code. Live preview. In English or Spanish.
Chispitas Monte is our bilingual, nature-based K-12 homeschool curriculum — for families where the parent is a heritage Spanish speaker, and for families where the parent speaks none at all. Your child becomes bilingual. You remain the capable teacher.
"We saw the spark in our daughter long before we knew what to do with it. Chispitas gave her the structure, and us the language, to take it seriously."— Founding family, 2026
To the children who showed up with questions, and the families who took those questions seriously — thank you. You were the first to trust us with a spark. This is what the beginning looked like.
Chispitas means little sparks — the kind a child carries inside them. A question they cannot stop asking. A problem they want to solve. A story they need to tell. The minds that become great surgeons, founders, writers, and scientists were once small children carrying these sparks, waiting for someone to take them seriously.
We started in Southmost, looking out at the same horizon the rockets rise from. We built Chispitas for families who already see the sparks in their child — and want a place where those sparks can be nurtured into something more than they could carry alone.
We work alongside parents to give children the tools, the structure, and the confidence to realize what they are already imagining. The path evolves as the child does. Our work is to walk it with them.
We work bilingually, in English and Spanish, because the border is a beginning, not a limit.
The studio mark was inspired by a painting made by one of our first students at age six: a sun erupting against the cosmos. We saw what she had painted — a spark, nurtured, erupting into possibility. The studio took its name and its purpose from that moment.
